Selinda Camp photos

The main camp lounge and dining area is spacious and comfortable, raised on wooden decks under a thatched roof. Some evenings, dining is out in the open under a star studded sky!

Mornings and afternoons can be enjoyed relaxing and taking in the spectacular views over the floodplains and savannahs.
There is a separate deck where tea and pre game-drive snacks are enjoyed, while comfortable couches and armchairs make the lounge inviting.

Set apart from the main area is a thatched gallery and quiet reading area, the curio shop and a climate controlled wine cellar. An outdoor campfire rounds off the evenings.

There is a plunge pool with loungers for guests to enjoy.

Meals include light breakfast at dawn, hearty brunch on return from morning activity, afternoon tea and snacks before the afternoon activity and a three course dinner in the evening. Special meals and dietary requirements are catered for on request.

There is a small library in the curio shop, where fresh coffee is brewed all day long.

Activities
Wildlife viewing by vehicle, boat, canoes and on foot. All can be arranged at the camp. There is no set routine and the reserve is generally explored in the early morning, late afternoon and at night when wildlife is most active.

Game drives are conducted in open Toyota Land Cruisers with removable canvas canopies which are run on a ‘bio-type’ fuel.
Water and foot viewing are led by licensed guides who are firearm experienced.
